When I was five, my sister taught me to use a watercolour paintbox. From that moment, I knew that I was meant to be an artist. Throughout a lifetime of study, marriage, motherhood and career, art was always on my mind. I made art at every opportunity until the age of 52, when I resigned from my position as a Translator to devote myself full time to art.

Although I have worked in many media, producing images covering a wide range of subjects including book illustrations, murals, and ephemeral installations, in my heart was a long held dream that remained ever more vivid as time went on.

This dream was to make a series of angel blessing cards, using photographs of angels that I had painted over the years, and to write on the back, for each angel, a special blessing, a message of hope and consolation, to remind people that glorious angels are always nearby, ready to offer unconditional love and assistance.

My dream has now been realized, and it is with quiet joy that I offer you this deck of 48 angel blessing cards. These frameable works of art have a unique character, as the paintings were made on leaf stone, canvas, paper, wood panel, and iridescent taffeta.
